My Logo

Creating a logo for yourself can be a challenge as it certainly was for me. Right away i got stuck on what could it  actually be? I was confused to how can a single image / symbol describe a person as people are very complex and unique. However with some advice from some of my friends, i was able to create my logo.
Firstly i started to think about what makes me stand out as a individual however i found it hard to answer this question as the only thing that makes me, who i am is my name. Yes, There are some other things that i make me different, but not that much as (for example) there are other people who can play the piano, not just me. as i was thinking i started to wounder how other people see me in a crowded room and i turned to my friends for the answer. As i was hoping, after the conversations with friends i was able to get a rough idea of what makes me special (Thank you to those friends who helped :) ).
Firstly i can say that my name Eduards Čaklais is spelled with a letter that is not included in the English alphabet. moreover as people have different hand writings i decided that my logo will have a "Personal touch". Furthermore i like to produce and view art therefore i decided to include something stereotypical to symbolize art.
I grabbed a pen, got a piece of paper and wrote my initials.
I played around with them making many different stylized versions of my two initials. I develped my work by using a brush and paint instead of pen to to fill the check box for "art symbol".

It took me quite a few tries to get to what i needed, however i am very satisfied with the end result.
Using Photoshop i played with my logo by changing the contrast, colour, colour saturation and positioning and background to create the final version of my logo
